Add a live, auto-updating health alert feed to your agency website

Embed PHapp® directly on your agency website to give your community a live feed of verified health alerts. The embed is free for all agencies, requires no sign-up for basic use, and updates automatically with no maintenance on your end.

What the embed includes

Note: Adding the embed code to your website may require help from your webmaster or IT team, depending on how your site is managed.

How to get your embed code

  1. Sign in to Portal by Hub
  2. Open Promote, then Embed
  3. Choose the community you want the embed to show
  4. Copy the embed code
  5. Paste it into the source code of your webpage

While Hub is in beta: alerts are not yet visible to the public, so the embed shows a short "updates aren't public yet" placeholder instead of the list. Add it to your page now anyway — it fills in on its own when alerts become public, and you will not need to paste it again.

Advanced: If you are familiar with HTML, you can construct your own embed code. Here is a reference example you can use as a starting point.

In the example below, f=heat limits results to heat-related alerts. Leave it out to show all alerts available for the selected community.

One topic per widget. To show two topics side by side, add two embeds.

The embed fills the width of the space you place it in. Change the height to suit your page. Embed codes you pasted before keep working as they are.

Embed codes that point at ph.app/embed/… keep working: they are forwarded to embed.ph.app automatically. Updating yours to the new address is still recommended.
