Mass notification system integration
How PHapp® works alongside IPAWS, WEA, EAS, and other mass notification systems
Works Alongside Your Existing Systems
PHapp® is designed to complement — not replace — existing mass notification systems like the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), and the Emergency Alert System (EAS).
What PHapp® Adds
- Stable link per incident — every alert gets a permanent, shareable URL that stays updated as the situation evolves
- Multilingual destination — every alert is available in 50+ human-reviewed languages, giving residents a place to read the full details in their language
- Multi-channel delivery — alerts reach residents via app, web, SMS, and email, filling gaps that WEA and EAS can't reach
- National alert redistribution — PHapp® redistributes verified alerts from CDC, NWS/NOAA, FDA, EPA, USDA, and local agencies to residents in affected areas
How It Works
When you issue an alert through IPAWS or another mass notification system:
- PHapp® receives and redistributes the alert to residents in the affected area
- Residents see the full alert details — in their language — with clear action steps
- The stable link can be shared on social media, websites, and in follow-up communications
- Updates to the incident are published to the same link automatically
No Replacement Required
PHapp® doesn't require agencies to change their existing workflows. It extends the reach of alerts you're already sending by adding multilingual, multi-channel delivery on top of your current systems.
