Unlike traditional emergency alert systems, PHapp provides comprehensive coverage of 41 different risk and hazard categories, including weather emergencies, disease outbreaks, environmental hazards, food and product recalls, and public safety notifications.

The app is available across the United States, including territories and tribal nations, currently serving 3,432 counties and communities nationwide.
