Topics Notifications allow you to subscribe to specific categories of alerts that interest you most.
How Topics Work
Instead of receiving all alert types, you can choose to follow specific topics such as:
- Weather-related alerts only
- Health and disease outbreak notifications
- Food safety and recall alerts
- Environmental hazards
- Public safety notifications

Managing Your Topics
To customize your Topics Notifications:
- Open PHapp
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Notification Preferences" or "Topics"
- Select the topic categories you want to follow
- Save your preferences
Recommended Settings
We recommend:
- Keeping critical safety alerts enabled regardless of topic preferences
- Reviewing your topics periodically based on seasonal needs (e.g., enabling weather alerts during storm season)
- Enabling all topics for your primary location if you want comprehensive coverage
