Does PHapp® collect usage statistics?
How usage is recorded, and the choice you have
PHapp records usage — such as which updates are read — so agencies can see how far their updates reach.
What Is Recorded
- Usage is recorded on our servers, but it is not linked to your account — whether or not you are signed in
- By default, a day’s usage is counted under a key that changes every day
- Agencies see only aggregated counts, never individual readers
- It is never sold
Analytics & Improvements
You can choose to help us see how information reaches people over time. It is off unless you turn it on.
- Open PHapp® and go to Settings
- Under Privacy, tap “Analytics & Improvements”
- Turn on the switch at the top of the page
While it is on, your usage is tied to a random ID on your device instead of the daily key. Nothing collected identifies you personally, and it is still not linked to your account. Turn it off any time; turning it back on starts a new random ID. The app works the same either way.
