Analytics and reporting in Portal by Hub

Track reach, engagement, and outcomes across your community

Portal by Hub gives you detailed analytics to understand how your community is engaging with public health information. Basic analytics are included free for every agency. Advanced analytics are available as an optional paid upgrade.

Access the dashboard

  1. Sign in at portal.hub.inc
  2. Tap on Dashboard

The dashboard shows your key metrics at a glance, with options to filter by date range, topic, and community.

Basic analytics (included free)

Impressions

The total number of times alerts and content were displayed to people in your community during the selected time period. If one person sees an alert 10 times, that counts as 10 impressions.

Reach

The total unique people in your community who saw at least one alert or piece of content during the selected time period. Use this to understand how broadly your messages are landing.

Engagement

The total taps and clicks on content shown to people in your community. This includes tapping a phone number to call, clicking a link to visit a website, or expanding an alert to read more.

Notifications sent

The total number of push notifications delivered to people in your community.

Alerts issued

The total number of alerts from verified sources that were mapped to your community.

Advanced analytics (optional upgrade)

Advanced analytics provide deeper insight for agencies that need to document outcomes, report to funders, or support accreditation. Capabilities include:

  • Reach by language, channel, and geography — See exactly which populations you are reaching and through which channels.
  • PHAB accreditation documentation — Generate reports that align with Public Health Accreditation Board requirements for community engagement and health communication.
  • Grant reporting — Export ready-to-use data for CDC, HRSA, and other federal or state grant reports.
  • Population-level reach tracking — Measure the share of your jurisdiction's population that received key messages.
  • Research-grade anonymized data — Access de-identified, aggregate data suitable for academic research and program evaluation.
